How to order flexi bag

How to order?

Ordering your Pink Bag is super easy. At Pink Bins, our flexi bags come in two sizes: 1m3 at (up to 500kg) and 3m3 (up to 800kg). Our rates include postage, collection, and disposal.

  1. Order online or call us.
  2. Fill your flexi bag at your own pace. No rush.
  3. You can keep the bag for however long you’d like. Just call us to arrange pick-up, and we’ll come and get it within seven days. Easy peasy!

Loading Do’s and Don’ts

Now that you know all about our flexi bags, here are a few loading tips to help you make the most of your bin.

Do

  • Load heavy items first, as this will stop them from crushing lighter items.
  • Try to fill the bag evenly so that it doesn’t become unbalanced and topple over.
  • Pack items together to make the most of the space in your bag.
  • Use smaller items to fill in any gaps and voids.
  • Place your flexi bag for collection a maximum of 4 metres from the kerbside.
  • Make sure our collection trucks can pass through. We need at least 3 metres in width and 4 metres in height.

Don’t

  • Don’t overload your bin.
  • Avoid putting sharp objects in your bin as they could puncture the bag and cause a mess.
  • Don’t place bags within 4 metres of power lines or under trees.

Pink “flexi” bag contents

Items allowed: Construction, demolition, household, and green waste and appliances.

Items not allowed: Food and hazardous waste, asbestos, gas bottles, car or lithium batteries chemicals, paint, tyres, fluorescent tubes, large quantities of clean fill, hard fill, soil, fridges, and freezers unless degassed.

Putting out my flexi bag for collection

After calling us, you can put your flexi bag out for collection just like any other bin. Just make sure that it’s placed on level ground and away from any obstacles that could prevent the truck from being able to reach it. Our trucks need at least 3 metres in width and 4 metres height to pass through.

How do I know if the bag is full?

We recommend you stop filling when the rubbish reaches the top level of the bag, to cart it safely.

When should I use a pink bag?

A flexi bag can be used in place of a skip for residential and construction project clean-ups, and so on. It is also useful when working in tight spaces.

What time of the day does the flexi bag come?

The flexi bag will be sent via courier from Monday to Friday, during business hours.

How long does it take for the bag to be delivered?

Your flexi bag can be delivered with1-2 days or 2-3 days of ordering (additional $ for 1-2).
