- When receiving sales enquiries, the team here at Pink Bins quite often get the question; “can we put branches and foliage in our bin?” – to which we reply; “of course you can, we love it!”.
- All of the green waste collected from our customers ends up at Envirofert limited, Tuakau. Envirofert have been turning green waste into high quality compost product since 1999. With a number of business and environmental awards behind them, Envirofert has developed their products to suit the NZ agricultural market. All products are made from 100% reused waste product, which would normally be buried in a landfill.
- Pink Bins have been tipping recycled green waste at Envirofert since opening our recycling centre, and quite regularly exceed 100 tonnes of tipping each month. We believe Envirofert are making a difference through their operations, and we hope to continue our relationship with them into the foreseeable future.
